How do you narrow the field to find your dream home?
One of the best things buyers can do is to develop a list, prioritizing needs and preferences. When developing your list, consider these questions:
- Are you looking for a house, condo or co-op?
- What style house-- split level, colonial, ranch, etc.-- and features or amenities are you looking for?
- What is your budget?
- How soon would you like to/need to move?
- What communities are you interested in?
- Are you willing to buy a home that needs updating?
- How important is the quality of the local schools and real estate taxes?
- What are your commuting needs?
